It has a 500ms response time to instantly measure forehead temperature (89.6 to 108.5°F/32 to 42.5°C) from a 2 to 6" (5 to 15cm) working distance without making contact.

DESCRIPTION

The Triplett Model FT2020 Non-Contact Forehead Thermometer is a front-line screening device used to quickly scan for elevated forehead temperature. It has a 500ms response time to instantly measure forehead temperature (89.6 to 108.5°F/32 to 42.5°C) from a 2 to 6" (5 to 15cm) working distance without making contact. Measurements are displayed on the backlit LCD with selectable °F or °C readout. For easy viewing automatic data hold "freezes" the reading on the display for 7 seconds after the trigger or until the trigger is pressed again. In addition, the thermometer can also be used to measure the surface temperature of objects from 32 to 140°F (-0 to 60°C). Includes a 9V battery and carrying case.
