Features: This is a under-voltage switch controller used to turn off the power of load in the event of the voltage dropping below a set value. When the battery voltage increases to a set value, the module will automatically turn on load again. Designed with a LED indicator to show if battery is under-voltage. Both turn-off and turn-on voltage value can be adjusted by simply pressing buttons. This controller will help you to protect battery from over-discharging and prolong battery life. Specifications: Suitable Battery: Storage/lithium battery Power Supply Voltage: DC12V Battery Voltage: 3.7V~96V Control Voltage: 3V~120V Control Current: 20A Control Precision: 0.1V Voltage Error: ±0.1V Size: 7.8*4.3*2.3cm/3.1*1.7*0.9in Weight: 42g(approx.) Voltage Setting Method: At setting mode(when display flashes), S1 button increases voltage value(add), S2 button reduces voltage value(minus). S1 Under-voltage Setting(load stop): At normal mode, press S1 button to show under-voltage value. Press and hold S1 button till display flashes, then adjust under-voltage value by pressing S1 and S2 button. S2 Over-voltage Setting(load start): At normal mode, press S2 button to show over-voltage value. Press and hold S2 button till display flashes, then adjust over-voltage value by pressing S1 and S2 button. Restore to Factory Setting: At normal state, press and hold S1 and S2 buttons together, till display shows 888, to restore to factory setting Note: If S1 cannot be used to add voltage, set S2 first; if S2 cannot be used to minus voltage, set S1 first. Package Includes: 1 x Battery Under-voltage Controller

This tested out well for me on a bench power supply and volt meter before putting it in a Powerwheels vehicle with custom lithium batteries. How it works:The two little wires power the device. When you supply them with 12V, the voltage readout display for the battery contacts turns on and protection is enabled when voltage is low. If you don't supply them with power, there's no protection, even if your battery voltage is below the cut off.I like having the two little wires because I can just reuse the power switch for the car, which supplies 12V when on anyway. Competitors either had auto sensing which slowly drains the battery, or a separate on/off switch you had to actuate - meaning two separate switches whenever you want to use the device with protection. Having 12V on/off wires like this means you can have a system with 1 less switch. The red LED dot is on when 12V power is supplied to the little wires and protection is active. So if your battery connected to the first two contacts is 10V, for example, the LED will be on, and no power will come out from the last two contacts on the device. If your battery is 15V, the red LED dot will be off, and power will come out from the last two contacts.By default, protection activated when my battery dropped below 10.2V, and protection shut off when the battery reached 14.6. The lowest you can set the voltage that protection shuts off at is 12V. That's my one big complaint because I'm using a 3S lithium battery and 12V is 4V per cell which is already 75% full. But, oh well. Just keep in mind, if using for a 3S lithium battery, you'll need to charge to 75% before you can use the device again.I also confirmed it remembered my custom voltage settings even after losing power, so that's nice.
