The PRO CHARGER 40A is a modern and efficient battery charger / power supply for automotive system sound, delivering 40A current continuously.
Use a 7 AWG cable and 40A on Circuit Breaker. Please, do not use cables with gauges smaller than recommended.
Adjust the output voltage from 12.4V to 14.4V, but it's important do the voltage adjustment before of connect the loads, and for automotive battery recharge, it is recommended to set the output voltage greater than 13.8V.
This equipment has a plug that meets the new Brazilian standard for plugs and sockets (NBR 14136) as per Conmetro resolution nº 11/2006. The plug that comes with the power supply is 10A.
Fan The cooling fan keep on while the PRO CHARGER 40A is AC Powered. Never obstruct the fan and leave a 5cm space on the sides.
This equipment is automatic dual voltage. The input AC voltage must be above 90VAC for 110/127VAC, and above 190VAC for 220VAC.
This is a great setup for running a PIWIS III. Used 8 gauge wire, 40A fuse and alligator clips.
