This compact digital brix meter is a high-precision optical instrument that uses its own LED light source to measure brix and refractive index. The device uses the principle that different liquids have different refractive indices, and uses a light beam to measure the refraction of the test solution. The meter can be easily calibrated using distilled water (included). The unit is simple to use, delivering fast and accurate results. Can be used to detect sugar content in fruits, vegetables, juices and honey with applications in food and beverage industries.

Includes rechargeable battery & instructions. IP65 water resistant.
